FAQ: account, email and OTP verification

Clear steps for creating a Sysnapp account, confirming your email, completing OTP verification, recovering access credentials and deleting an account.

Important: a new account must complete both email confirmation and OTP verification within 30 days. If one of these steps is missing after 30 days, the account may be placed in pending mode and the app will block chat, rooms and marketplace until verification is completed.

Create an account

Open Sysnapp and choose the registration option on the login screen. Use information that you can actually verify, because email and OTP security are required to keep the account active.

  1. Nickname: choose the public name you will use to log in and appear in Sysnapp. Keep it recognizable and avoid pretending to be another person.
  2. Email: enter an email inbox you can open immediately. The confirmation message and future recovery messages will be sent there.
  3. Password: use a password that is not reused on other services. A longer phrase with numbers or symbols is safer than a short word.
  4. Profile data: add only accurate account information such as name, phone number, birthdate or profile photo when requested by the app. Some information may be used for account safety, contact matching or marketplace trust.

After registration, keep the app open long enough to see the email and OTP instructions. Do not create duplicate accounts just because the email is delayed: first check spam and use resend confirmation.

Confirm your account by email

After you create the account, Sysnapp sends a confirmation email automatically. Open the email and follow the confirmation link or code shown in the message.

  • Check the same email address you used during registration.
  • If the message is not in the inbox, check spam, promotions and blocked sender folders.
  • If it still does not arrive, open the app and use the resend confirmation option.
  • When the confirmation succeeds, the app updates your account as email verified.

Confirm OTP within 30 days

OTP is the one-time security code used to protect login and account recovery. In Sysnapp it may be shown as a setup screen with a code or QR/manual key. Use an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Apple Passwords or another compatible app.

  1. Open the OTP/MFA setup screen in Sysnapp when the app asks you to secure the account.
  2. Add the Sysnapp key to your authenticator app. If you see a QR code, scan it; if you see a manual key, copy it carefully.
  3. Wait for the authenticator to show a fresh 6-digit code.
  4. Enter that code in Sysnapp before it expires. Codes usually change every 30 seconds.
  5. When Sysnapp accepts the code, save the recovery codes shown by the app in a safe place. They are useful if you lose access to the authenticator.

Email confirmation is not the same as OTP confirmation. To keep the account fully active, complete both within 30 days.

Recover login credentials

Use the recovery links on the login page when you cannot remember your nickname or password. Sysnapp uses generic messages so nobody can discover whether an email or nickname is registered.

  • Forgot nickname: enter your email. If it belongs to a Sysnapp account, you will receive an email with the nickname or instructions.
  • Forgot password: enter your email or nickname. If the account exists, Sysnapp sends a reset link or code by email.
  • Choose a new password from the reset flow. Sysnapp never sends your old password by email.
  • After a password reset, old sessions may be invalidated and a security email can be sent to notify you that the password changed.

What happens after 30 days without email and OTP confirmation

If the account has not completed email confirmation and OTP verification within 30 days, Sysnapp may move it to pending mode. Pending mode is not a deletion: it is a safety block until verification is completed.

  • Chat, private messages, rooms and marketplace features may be blocked.
  • The active actions are limited to confirming email, resending the confirmation email and completing OTP verification.
  • When the missing confirmations are completed, the account can return to normal operation.

Delete an account

You can request account deletion from the app or by email through the website. Deletion requires ownership verification to prevent someone else from deleting your account.

  • From the app: open the account/settings area, choose the delete account option and follow the confirmation prompts.
  • From the website: open the Delete account page and send the prepared email from the address linked to your Sysnapp account when possible.
  • Include nickname, linked email or phone number and a clear sentence confirming that you want the account deleted.
  • After deletion, access to chats, rooms, marketplace listings, photos and account features may be lost.
